Hole in the Rock Trail

Yellow Jeep Journey

My good friend and continual Yellow Jeep Journey supporter Terry Baker suggested this Yellow Jeep adventure:

I had a life changing event several years ago running a portion of the Hole-In-The-Rock trail that followed the path of the Mormon pioneers that settled Bluff, UT. The trail starts near the airstrip near Bullfrog Marina on Lake Powell (37.418140, -110.503452)  The trail ends at the top of Cottonwood Canyon, across the river from the hole in the rock descent (37.217844, -110.823103)  At the top of cottonwood canyon, you can still see the grooves worn in the sandstone from the cables between the wagon below and extra teams of animals above. Very remote and very rugged terrain. Top notch off-roading along the way, especially “the chute” (37.227559, -110.788105)

Good write-up here. Great view from a yellow Bronco!

Get that Jeep and let’s go Mark!

Here’s a video Terry suggested of adventure on the trail for a group of Bronco enthusiasts.  It would be even more fun in a Yellow Jeep!

Roll on Yellow Jeep Journey!
